Their leading edge indoor vertical farming towers allow IGS to control the weather and grow a range of plants, crops, fruit and herbs simultaneously at optimum conditions anywhere in the world.
We currently employ close to 200 people worldwide. Founded in Scotland the business now boasts offices in Singapore and as we build out new customers and a USA supply chain strategy, so we need to open new sites in North America. At this time we need to make the key hire of a Agritech Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant.
Reporting into the Head of Operations North America, the Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant will join a new team and work seamlessly with Sales to develop leads from concept to contract in the NA marketspace with a specific focus on the United States and Canada. You will nurture sales leads through advanced technical input to specify and design the optimal business case for their operation and understand, constructively assess, and advise on the Customer’s chosen market.

You are educated to degree calibre in a technical, engineering or related discipline. We are looking for someone who is collaborative both internally and externally, can be innovative in their approach to the role, demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail in a fast moving, pressured environment and self-motivated displaying a strong affinity to customers and partners. This role will be suitable for candidate with a strong AgriTech or horticultural growing or products / technology background looking to move into Technical Sales. Ideally you have had some commercial exposure and/or early career involvement in sales, pre-sales or internal sales.
