We are food farmers! Hammock Greens is a hydroponic farm of green leafy vegetables grown inside shipping containers. We grow lettuce greens, petites and micro-greens with no herbicide or pesticides in Controlled Environment Agriculture. Our two primary channels of revenue are the hospitality industry and hospitality food distributors. Over the next 12 months we look to develop Direct To Consumer and Retail opportunities
Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced digital marketing strategist to join our team. You will draft the message to be distributed in various media. This position will shape, create, identify needs, find new opportunities, aspire to increase brand awareness. As a digital marketing strategist, your primary objective will be to facilitate proven content strategies. You’ll be responsible for conceiving, driving, and implementing initiatives to increase brand presence and improve conversion, ultimately growing our customer base and helping us scale to reach our revenue targets.
If you’re a tech-savvy trendsetter who has innovative content ideas, we would like to meet you. For this position, you should be creative and comfortable working with a team.
Responsibilities
Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
Set specific objectives and report on ROI
Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
Monitor & Report SEO and web traffic metrics
Help increase our organic SEO
Develop content, drafting message, distributing the message
Collaborate with other teams, like farming operations, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
Engagement with audience; communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Google, You Tube, and LinkedIn
Oversee social media accounts’ design
Oversee, plan & design programs for sales incentive sites such as Groupon
Oversee, plan and manage HG’s CRM
Oversee, intermediate and propagate customers reviews across all review platforms
Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
Generate point of sale collateral, specific for the distributor partner’s needs
Goals
Produce reports of our analytics with a focus to:
Increase Fanbase Growth (Followers)
Increase page and post impressions / engagement
Increase web traffic referrals from Social Media
Increase Brand awareness
Requirements
BS degree in Marketing or relevant field
Demonstrate abilities as a Social media manager
Weekend and evening availability for events, as needed
Infrequent out-of-town traveling to our west Florida and the Keys
Hands on experience in content management
Excellent copywriting skills
Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
Knowledge of online marketing channels
Excellent communication skills
Analytical and multitasking skills
